Hate Crime Awareness Training
Hate Crime Awareness Training event dates organised by the Derbyshire County Council’s Community Safety Unit. This course is designed to provide an introduction to issues involved in supporting people affected by Hate Crime.
- Gain an increased understanding of Hate Crime and its effects
- Look at Hate Crime nationally and what this means for Derbyshire
- Further develop skills to help you support people facing different forms of Hate Crime.
- Have an opportunity to strengthen individual, team and organisational practices when responding to Hate Crime.
New training events have been arranged on the following dates:-
Thursday 17 May 2018 in Committee Room 1, County Hall, Matlock, 9.00am until 12.30
Wednesday 4 July 2018 in Committee Room 1, County Hall, Matlock, 9.00am until 12.30
How to book:
We have an online booking system for all of our courses – click here to find further information and the booking form, via the Safer Derbyshire website.
If you wish to attend please submit the online booking form. The places will be booked on a first come first served basis.
Please ensure you try and complete all sections of the booking form, as it may delay your registration if we do not have all your details. This is to ensure we register your place on the course against your personal learning record and will help us identify any issues of duplication. All personal data is kept in a secure manner, using our learning management system, as relating to the Data Protection Act.
