How do you use Facebook to achieve your objectives and reach your target audience? This workshop will demonstrate how this incredibly powerful, yet somewhat mystifying, social network can have a real impact on your organisation. You will be shown how to turn your page into one which people will want to like, how to create posts which make a difference to your organisation and how to measure the results. The workshop will be run by Mark Saxby, director of one of the UK’s first specialist social media agencies. Mark and his Status Social team in Derby has trained more than 1,700 people how to use social media, generated more than £1m in sales through social media, and worked with many in the leisure industry. Status Social ran the social media for Cleethorpes for three years and encouraged visitors to return to the resort after decades of staying away. Places are limited on the workshop and initially limed to one per organisation, to book your place, please email rosemary.maclennan@derbyshire.gov.uk by Friday 19 January.
