Who is Help at Home here to support?

Our aim is to enable people from Amber Valley and Erewash to live independently in their homes. We carry out tasks which many of us have undertaken in the past but are no longer able to do because of age, disability or illness.

Why choose us?

All our workers are paid and police checked. They have received a comprehensive induction covering such topics as moving and handling, health and safety as well as a specific ongoing training plan. You can have the same worker each week and we operate the service 52 weeks of the year.

 

What can the service provide?

Your Help at Home Gardener will undertake tasks agreed by our Help at Home Coordinator and yourself at an assessment visit.

Tasks could include:

We serve many customers with regular maintenance visits and we offer a high quality, reliable service at a reasonable price.

There is a basic charge for the service which ensures the work carried out is of a high standard, the gardener is police checked, fully insured and trained to meet health and safety guidelines.

Our hourly charge is £20.00
