Amber Valley CVS are recruiting Domestic Workers in Belper, Duffield, Little Eaton and surrounding areas to work with their Help at Home Domestic Team

Are you looking for flexible working hours that suit you and your lifestyle? We offer a nil hours contract that lets you decide how many or how few hours you work each week. No weekends, early mornings, late nights or Bank Holidays. We operate between 9.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

The role includes cleaning, shopping and ironing at people’s homes to promote independent living.

Person spec: reliable, trustworthy, good cleaning skills and customer focused. Mature applicants welcome. Must have access to transport, as work is in and around stated areas, previous experience of cleaning and working with vulnerable adults in their own homes is an advantage.

Travel costs only applicable to travel within your working day and not payable as travel to and from work expense.

Benefits: Holiday pay, Pension, Sickness pay, Flexible hours, DBS check paid by employer

Derbyshire Autism Services  SERVICE CO-ORDINATOR – RIPLEY BASED – 37 HOURS P/W – SALARY £19,500 RISING TO £20,500 AFTER THE 6 MONTH PROBATIONERY PERIOD

Derbyshire Autism Services (DAS) is a vibrant and developing organisation working closely with autistic children, young people and adults in support, development and advocacy to improve opportunities for those with autism and their parents and carers. We believe strongly in the abilities and potential of our service users and others with autism in Derbyshire.

DAS are looking for a Service Co-ordinator who will be responsible in producing staffing and club schedules around our 1:1, 2:1 and groups services.

Sound knowledge and experience of scheduling sessions will be an advantage, suiting people with good planning and organisational skills who are ICT literate.

This is a reasonably intensive but rewarding role requiring an ability to communicate well with people and with the support of the Operational Services Manager, manage complex scheduling in a flexible way.

DAS are interested in hearing from a wide range of applicants who care about making a real difference to people with autism, and who are passionate about service co-ordination in the care sector. Lived experience of Autism may be an advantage, but is not essential, Reasonable adjustments will be made for those with a diagnosed disability or who are Autistic.

The successful applicant will report to and work closely with the Operational Services Manager The role is office based although there is some limited participation in outside events/meetings. For this reason, a full driving licence, access to your own car and business insurance are required. Where duties are undertaken outside of normal office hours then ‘time off in lieu’ is accrued.

SESSIONAL FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER – AUTISM SERVICES – DERBYSHIRE VARIOUS ROLES AVAILABLE – £8.82 RISING TO £9.00 PER HOUR

DAS require additional Family Support Workers to work across Derbyshire.

DAS are interested in hearing from a wide range of applicants who care about making a difference to people with autism, and are passionate about support work. Given the nature of the work and the needs and potential of their service users, and the current make-up of the support team, DAS are in particular need of male workers and those living in the north and south of the county. However, applications are welcomed from anyone interested in this type of work.

Preference will be given to those who can commit to regular working at weekends, evenings and during school holidays, as part of their contracted hours. Applicants will also receive our comprehensive training if a position is offered.

Experience of Autism would be an advantage and reasonable adjustments will be made for those with a diagnosed disability or who are Autistic.
