As part of a busy team of staff the role will be varied and will include: Proven track record of support as minute taker and clerk to the Board of Trustees. Additionally, the role will support our Help at Home Project by providing a high level of administration and customer service skills. The project deals with elderly and disabled clients providing practical support to enable them to stay independent. Administration support to the staff of Amber Valley CVS and its member groups, You will take the lead to ensure all administration tasks relating to the operation of our highly successful Disclosure & Barring Umbrella Service are completed. Supporting volunteers within their administration role Experience of working in a fast paced and varied environment will be required. Customer Service, IT and Reception are essential demonstratable skills. Some Finance and HR experience is desirable. You will need a varied and high competency of administration skills and previous work experience in a busy reception. Experience of all types of Office 365 including databases and some bespoke computer packages. You will maintain records using spreadsheets, databases and filing systems to ensure the effective operation of a busy Administration department. This role focuses on engaging individuals and communities, particularly those experiencing the greatest inequalities, to increase confidence, improve wellbeing, and connect with opportunities for movement. Through the delivery of the Couch to 5X programme and wider Move More initiatives, the postholder will empower people to set and achieve personal movement goals, build relationships with community partners, and help create environments where moving more becomes a normal part of everyday life. You will need to be well organised, have good administrative skills and be able to maintain records and statistics to monitor the project. Skills with social media will be an advantage. Ability to liaise and work with other agencies and partners to identify needs of individuals is essential. You will also need to have achieved Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral qualification. This is a 21-hour per week permanent position. This role focuses on delivering group-based support, helping people living with dementia and their carers connect with others, access information, build confidence, and reduce isolation.
